FAQ
Do I need a passport or visa?
You’ll need a valid passport with at least 6 months before expiry from your travel dates. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for Italy for stays under 90 days.
Will transportation be arranged from the airport?
Yes! We’ll have group transportation from Rome to our villas in Amalfi, and back again at the end of the week.

Money, Power & Connectivity

Will my phone work in Italy?
Most major carriers offer an international plan. Alternatively, you can use an eSIM or purchase an Italian SIM card. WhatsApp is the easiest way to stay in touch with the group.
What currency does Italy use?
The Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s a good idea to carry some cash for small shops or cafés.
Will I need an adapter?
Yes. Italy uses Type C, F, and L plugs (230V). Bring a European adapter and a voltage converter if your electronics aren’t dual voltage.
Is there Wi-Fi at the villas?
Yes — the villas have Wi-Fi, though speeds can vary.

Can I wear white?
Nope — white is reserved for the bride! Think of it this way: in Amalfi, you’ve got a rainbow of gorgeous colors to choose from — just leave the white for Lindsay’s moment.
What’s the dress code for the wedding?
Formal. Picture breezy elegance — think flowy dresses, linen suits, and shoes you can handle on stone pathways.

Location & Experience

What’s the weather like in late September?
Typically sunny with highs around 75°F (24°C) and cooler evenings in the mid-60s°F (18°C).
Are there stairs or hills?
Yes — Amalfi is famous for its steps and winding streets. Comfortable shoes are a must.
Can I explore on my own?
Absolutely! We’ll have group activities, but you’ll also have free time to wander, shop, or sip limoncello in a piazza.
